The PCX160 belongs to Honda’s maxi-scooter lineup of scooters and is popular in other Asian markets. The PCX line of scooters has been around in the global market for more than a decade. The PCX160 is expected to make its way to India in June 2024.

Equipped with a single-cylinder 156cc engine and a fuel tank capacity of 8.1 litres, the PCX 160 can generate up to 15.6 bhp of max power at 8,500 rpm. The scooter has a heavy build, weighing 132 kg and measuring 1,935 mm in length. It also includes a 30-litre storage compartment. The scooter has disc brakes on both wheels and a fully-digital instrument console.

Internationally, the Honda PCX160 is available in five distinct colours, namely, Poseidon Black Metallic, Pearl Jasmine Silver, Candy Raster Red, Matte Cosmo Silver Metallic, and Matt Dim Gray Metallic. The scooter is expected to cost between the range of Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom). If launched, the PCX 160 will compete against the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SR 160 in India.
