नया क्या है?
The Norton V4CR is a stripped down café racer based on the Norton V4SV superbike, and developed under TVS Motor Company’s ownership of the British brand. Powering the motorcycle is Norton's proprietary 72-degree 1,200cc V-4 engine. Initially developed during the tumultuous period under Stuart Garner's leadership, which ended in bankruptcy in early 2020, Norton has since revised the engine following India's TVS assuming responsibility for the brand later that year. During the redevelopment process, the engine's horsepower decreased by 15 bhp, going from 200 to 185 bhp.
However, Norton has maintained this power output for the naked V4CR, which also claims a peak of 185 bhp. This power peak is reached at 12,000 rpm, while peak torque of 125 Nm is achieved at 9,000 rpm. The V4CR's stripped-back design, highlighted by exposed air intakes at the front and a compact tail unit, exudes an aggressive stance while embracing modern classic aesthetics.
It features adjustable Ohlins suspension both at the front and rear, Brembo brakes, aerospace-grade aluminum billet-machine yokes, and sophisticated lean angle-sensitive traction control with three engine modes: wet, road, and sport. The handmade aluminum frame enables riders to adjust the rake angle, steering offset, and swingarm pivot. Standard features include a quickshifter and auto-blipper system.
Weighing in at just 204 kg, the V4CR boasts a low kerb weight, thanks to carbon fiber fairings and a 15-liter underseat carbon fuel tank reinforced with Kevlar. The LED headlight maintains a traditional round shape, while a full-color TFT display provides all essential riding data.
Other Upcoming Norton Models are the Commando 961 Sport and Commando 961 Cafe Racer
