➡️Earlier in 2020, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars had announced the plan to launch its first-ever electric vehicle during the ongoing decade (2020 to 2030).
➡️The luxury carmaker did not reveal any specifics back then, now the company has confirmed that it will be making a major announcement regarding its first-ever electric vehicle later this week, on September 29, 2021.
➡️The company has also confirmed that the first electrified vehicle from Rolls-Royce will be a pure Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and not a hybrid of any kind.
➡️Toyota Kirloskar Motors today announced its decision to discontinue the Toyota Yaris sedan in India. The Japanese carmaker has ceased production of the compact sedan effective from September 27, 2021.
➡️Toyota says that the move is part of the company's new product strategy, under which the company plans to launch some new Toyota models in India in 2022.
➡️The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have increased petrol prices after a hiatus of 22 days, while diesel rates witnessed a fourth price hike since last week.
➡️Petrol prices in Delhi jumped by 20 paise from ₹ 101.19 a litre to ₹ 101.39 a litre while diesel is priced at ₹ 89.57 a litre, after a hike of 25 paise.
