Introduction

The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental 450 is a café-racer model with a 450cc engine.
In fact, Royal Enfield’s 450cc platform will bring in many motorcycles along with this model.
The 450 will join the 650 in the Continental GT brand of motorcycles.

Features & Equipment

We can expect the Continental 450 to look identical to the existing GT 650.
This means the styling clues will include the café-racer-inspired design.
As a result, it will be a single-seater motorcycle with only the rider's seat.
Moreover, clip-on handlebars are then a given.
Then, the equipment list will include LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a Tripper Navigation system.
It would be interesting to see if RE provides a semi-fairing as an optional accessory.
On the suspension front, we can expect the GT450 to get telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock.

Engine & Gearbox

The new RE Continental GT 450 is expected to use the brand's single-cylinder engine.
This will be a liquid-cooled setup though.
And like the Himalayan 450, it could produce 40bhp of power and torque figures.
