The MD & CEO of Eicher Motors Siddhartha Lal is very pleased and heartened by the better than expected performance of his automotive businesses. Speaking to NDTV's Siddharth Vinayak Patankar from Royal Enfield's newly opened production line outside Chennai, Mr Lal says the brand will grow to producing 9 to 11 lakh bikes a year by 2019 - a far cry from the 50,000 units annual production it had a decade ago.
