At its heart, the GSX-8S is powered by a newly developed 776cc parallel-twin engine, engineered for smooth power delivery and real-world usability. Producing approximately 82 bhp and 78 Nm of torque, this twin-cylinder unit features a 270-degree crank, delivering a V-twin-like pulse and throaty exhaust note that riders will love. It's mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter for effortless gear transitions on the move.
Built on a strong yet lightweight steel frame, the GSX-8S is equipped with KYB 43 mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable to suit different riding styles. This chassis setup aims to strike a balance between sporty handling and everyday ride comfort.
Stopping power comes from twin 310 mm front discs with four-piston Nissin calipers, and a 240 mm disc at the rear, ensuring confidence-inspiring braking in all conditions. A standard dual-channel ABS system adds to the safety net.
The electronics package is robust and includes ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes, 4-level traction control, Suzuki Easy Start System, and Low RPM Assist for smoother low-speed rides.
