Kia showcased a glimpse into the future of its expanding range of EVs with the new Concept EV2 at Kia EV Day 2025. The small SUV concept previews a future B-segment subcompact electric SUV that is due to arrive in Europe in 2026. The EV2 will become the smallest member of the Kia EV family of cars, sitting below the EV3 SUV in the company’s global lineup.
On the design front, the Concept EV2 follows a similar design as the larger EV5 and EV9 with boxy and upright proportions. The nose is characterised by a split headlamp design with twin vertically oriented LED daytime running light signatures, an enclosed ‘Tiger Nose’ grille and a muscular bumper with notable use of cladding. The prominent use of cladding carries over to the sides as well, covering the wheel arches and the lower doors. The boxy looks are accentuated by notable flares on the front wheel arches and a prominent rear haunch.
Round the back, the L-shaped tail lamps are set low down with the bumper featuring extensive use of cladding and an almost monolithic tailgate housing a curved rear windshield. An integrated roof-mounted spoiler and panoramic glass roof round out the Concept EV2’s design. On the whole, the design looks to be quite near production, with Kia having a track record of turning concepts to production cars with minimal exterior design changes.
The cabin is more akin to a concept. The EV2 features a B-pillar-less design with the rear doors hinged on the C-pillar. The front seat features a one-piece base with individual backrests and is capable of sliding up till the backrests of the rear seats to free up space to stretch out. The rear seat base is designed to fold up to free up space inside the cabin.
The dashboard itself is a minimalist unit featuring a widescreen display housing the infotainment and instrument cluster and a thick patterned trim strip running across the fascia below. The unit lacks a traditional centre console as well, featuring instead a walkthrough design. Unique touches to the interior include triangular patterned lighting atop the dashboard, removable portable speakers mounted on the front doors and a message lighting system that lets users post messages onto the windows to interact with other road users.
Kia also confirmed that the concept features both vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities and comes bundled with connected vehicle technology supports over-the-air updates.
Other Upcoming Kia Models are the Syros EV, EV4, EV5 and Sorento

Best first car one can have

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been an excellent first car for me. It offers a comfortable ride, light steering, and smooth handling, making city driving very easy. The cabin feels spacious and well-built, with all the essential features needed for daily use. Fuel efficiency is good, and maintenance costs are reasonable. Whether for commuting or occasional highway trips, it delivers a reliable and enjoyable driving experience. Overall, it's a practical and value-for-money hatchback.

Reliable and Trustworthy

It has been 7 years now that we are using ZLX Power+ and this has been a ever-ready vehicle for us and it has never let us down anywhere we have been through it. Obviously when you are driving it, you should expect a very comfy drive like it's cousins (Scorpio/XUXs) but it has its own USPs and it won't let you prove itself wrong in any of them.

Balenooo Big on style and easy on the wallet
By Sharath @ Jun 11, 2026 03:23 PM
5.0
Four months and 5,500 km with my Baleno, and it's been a delight. Sleek LED DRLs and sharp styling turn heads, while the cabin feels a class above. The 1.2L DualJet engine is buttery smooth in city traffic and relaxed on highways. SmartPlay touchscreen is lag-free, and the light steering makes parking effortless. Mileage is the real hero — 16-17 km/l in city, 21-22 km/l on highway runs. Boot space could be bigger, but that's my only gripe. Comfort, features, and fuel efficiency in one package — the Baleno nails the premium hatchback formula. Zero regrets!

Driving Experience Tata Harrier XT Dark Edition Diesel Since 2021
By Akhilesh Mani Tiwari @ Jun 11, 2026 12:05 PM
5.0
I have been driving a Tata Harrier XT Dark Edition (Diesel) since 2021 and have covered around 76,000 km. Sharing my experience based on driving across highways, cities, and several trips to the Himalayas, including challenging terrains in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Leh-Ladakh. The Harrier has a powerful engine, delivers good mileage, and offers excellent pickup. Both the front and rear seats are very comfortable, with ample legroom for passengers. The boot space is sufficient for 4–5 medium-sized trolleys or travel bags, making it an excellent choice for long road trips. The suspension setup is also very good and handles rough roads and mountain terrain comfortably. One area where I felt the vehicle lagged initially was the infotainment software, but Tata has significantly improved it in the newer versions. Being a diesel vehicle, there is some engine noise, but it is not excessive. The steering felt slightly heavy in my version, although I am not sure whether this has been improved in the latest models. Tata's service experience has generally been good. The service teams listen to customer concerns and work to resolve issues. Occasionally, there may be some challenges at the service center level, but with proper follow-up, the issues are usually addressed satisfactorily. Overall, despite being a 2WD vehicle, I have never faced any major issues while driving across different terrains, including mountainous regions. It has proven to be a reliable, comfortable, and capable companion for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
